A. 

l. All outdoor advertising structures not in excess of thirty-five feet in height shall be so designed and constructed that they will safely withstand a wind load from any direction of twenty pounds per square foot of exposed surface.

2. All outdoor advertising structures exceeding thirty-five feet in height including any and all embellishments shall be so designed and constructed that they will safely withstand a wind load from any direction of thirty pounds per square foot of exposed surface.

B. All outdoor advertising structures shall be designed and constructed with a safety factor of two against overturning.

C. Working stresses for any material used in the construction of an outdoor advertising structure shall not exceed those specified in the Uniform Building Code. (Ord. 89-10 (part), 1989; Ord. 89-3 (part), 1989)
