A. All portions of any outdoor advertising structure which are in contact with the ground shall be made of steel or of wood which has been treated by the pressure process with a preservative which will protect it from insect and fungus attack, or redwood equal to or better than foundation grade.

B. The ornamental border of those portions of the frame shall be made of approved combustible material which is not subject to excessive deterioration from exposure to the weather, or approved combustible plastics or noncombustible materials.

C. The advertising surface of any outdoor advertising structure or post sign in fire zone one shall be made of metal or other incombustible materials or approved combustible plastics, or may be of approved combustible materials. (Ord. 89-3 (part), 1989)
