Any organization qualified to conduct a bingo game under the provisions of this chapter shall apply for a permit to conduct such game or games during any calendar year. Such application shall be on a form prescribed by the city clerk and shall be accompanied by an annual license fee of fifty dollars. The city clerk may require such verification as may be necessary to establish the organization's status under Section 5.08.030. Upon verification of the status, the city clerk shall issue a license to the organization to conduct bingo games within the city at the times and places specified in the license and for the calendar year in which application is made.
