It is lawful for bingo games allowed by this chapter to be conducted only by organizations exempted from the payment of the bank and corporation tax by Sections 23701a, 23701b, 23701d, 2370le, 23701f, 23701g and 23701l of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the state and by mobilehome park associations and senior citizen's organizations, provided that the receipts of such games are used only for charitable purposes, and so long as the organization obtains a license to conduct the games from the city clerk, and so long as the bingo game or games are conducted in accordance with this chapter and any applicable law of the state.
