It is unlawful for any person to drive any dray, cart, hack, wagon, or other vehicle, whether loaded or otherwise, across any fire hose. Any person found guilty of violating any of the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction thereof be punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment for a period of not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
