A. There is associated and identified a street address for every existing residence within the city for every assessor's parcel number on which a residence is situated. Exhibit "A," a copy of which is available in the city clerk's office, is incorporated herein by this reference and is a list of all such residences, associating all assessor's parcel numbers with the assigned street address.

All dwellings shall bear and have displayed in a conspicuous place upon the front thereof a designated number, which number shall not be less than three inches in height and shall be securely fastened to the dwelling and visible from the public street.

B. All commercial/business buildings of every kind or character, situated within the city limits, shall bear and have displayed in a conspicuous place upon the front thereof a unique number to each building and shall be securely fastened to the building to which it applies. Size requirements will be dependent upon setback.

All entrances from the public streets of the city to buildings shall be numbered. The designated street number of each fronting entrance to a building shall be placed in a conspicuous position over, upon, or adjacent to the front door or entranceway to such building; provided, that if there is more than one such fronting door or entranceway to a building, each such door or entranceway shall be so numbered. The figures used in such numbers shall be of a contrasting color, not less than six inches in height, if building is set back from the public street and exceeds 20 feet, and shall be made of weatherproof or weather resistant material.
