Livestock may be permitted in a residential area on a minimum parcel size of one acre. In the case of fowls, or a rabbit hutch, it may be maintained on a city lot provided that in no case shall the pen, rabbit hutch or livestock confinement area be closer than seventy feet from the nearest residence, measured from the pen or enclosure to the nearest residence, not including the owner's residence.
