5.04.065 Prerequisites to issuance—Proof of coverage for Workers' Compensation or exemption therefrom.

Before issuing or renewing any license certificate covering any business, profession, occupation or operation for which a permit, license, or certificate of registration is required by the state, the city clerk shall require a certificate of Workers' Compensation Insurance for the period of operation or a certificate establishing exemption from the Workers' Compensation Insurance Laws of the state.
