Special meetings may be called by the chairman or a majority of the members by providing a written notice of said meeting time, place and agenda with the secretary of the planning commission at least 24 hours prior to said meeting. The signed written notice shall also be served personally or by certified mail upon all members of the planning commission who did not sign the notice of the special meeting. Twenty-four hours' notice in writing shall also be given to all newspapers, radio stations, and television stations which have filed a request for notice in writing with the city clerk or the secretary of the planning commission. The presence of all members at the special meeting, or the waiver of notice in writing by any absent member, shall constitute a waiver of the requirement of notice as it relates to members. This notice does not replace any other notice requirements under law. (Ord. 17-03 § 2, 2017)
