"Wholesale business" means the selling of commodities in large quantities, as to retailers or jobbers rather than to consumers directly, but not including the storing and/or selling of lumber or other similar building materials or the open storage and/or sale of any material or commodity and not including the processing or manufacture of any product or substance.
