This chapter applies only to those mobile homes which are certified under the National Home Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974 (42 U.S.C. Sec. 5401, et seq.) i.e., all mobile homes constructed and/or purchased after October, 1976. The restrictions relating to the installation of other types of manufactured housing existing as of the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter are to remain in effect.
