It is unlawful for any person to shoot any projectile from a firearm into or across any portion of the airport, or to have in his possession or under his control any firearm which is not unloaded and securely wrapped and boxed for shipment, or any explosive; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to peace officers and military personnel while acting in the performance of their duties as such.
